DISARRAY

In The Face Of The Enemy

(Eclipse)

4/5

Where did all the good thrash metal bands go? I'm talking about bands like Holy Terror and Evil Dead. Listening to Disarray is like being taken back to a time when DRI's "Crossover" was a highlight and thrash didn't mean boys with more testosterone than they knew what to do with. It's not just the music that reeks of California circa 1986/7. The way the band and the art work looks also brings back fond memories of a time lost. But that's not worth much if the music sucks. Luckily Disarray manage to keep my memories alive music wise. Even though the story is set in 2002 it's like being back in the 80s when I listen to "In The Face Of The Enemy".
