Straight from the horse's mouth.....

02.29.08
We've got a lot brewing behind the scenes right now. It's an exciting time for us. Expect a BIG announcement in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, we've added a new review for the Demise record to the Press section. Go check it out.

Chuck has just secured an endorsement from the fine folks at BASSON. He'll be showing off his new gear at the Muse in Nashville on October 23, when we open for metal legends Prong.

We are also working on some other band news as we speak; we'll be making announcements at the proper time here. Big changes on the horizon.

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT --

As has been hinted at and alluded to for some time now, we now have a solid release date for the long-awaited fifth Disarray album, Edge Of My Demise. The disc will drop on January 31, a week from today, on our own Inner V.O.I.D. label. The disc will be available via DisarrayOnline, as well as at our shows, and we are setting up other online avenues for acquiring it. We will let you know as soon as we get the details.

In addition, the show we have scheduled for that date -- in Nashville, at the Muse, with the legendary METAL CHURCH -- will serve as our CD release party. We will have the CD available for purchase there.

Stay tuned.

Sorry about the lapse in updates, folks. We had a bit of a meltdown here at the ol' BI headquarters; nothing will stir-fry a motherboard like a direct hit from a lightning bolt. It's taken some time, but we are back online and updating like mad bastards.

We've played a couple of shows in the interim with Bradley, fresh from basic and AI training. One show, the 820 show, went very well. We got some pretty good pictures from that one, courtesy our old buddy Homer (aka Steve), which we will be putting up here very shortly. As for the Muse show of Friday the 13th, well....

As evidenced by the board-mix CD of our abbreviated set, we experienced cataclysmic technical problems that ended our performance....exactly 13 minutes into our set, by the counter of the CD. To put it mildly, we were more than a little freaked to discover that particular anomaly in what was otherwise shaping up to be an incredible performance. I would almost guarantee that, at some point, in some form or another, that board mix will probably see the light of day. Dayum.

For those of you in attendance for that train-wreck, fear not. Our next show at the Muse will be with none other than Metal Church, on January 31, 2007. That one promises to be a religious experience not to be missed. In the meantime, we have a couple of shows coming up, and we will be adding to the list as time goes on. As always, keep an eye on DiarrayOnline for the latest.

A quick update:

DisarrayOnline's move to the new server is now complete. The site was down for about a day, and email was down for approximately four days, but as of this writing all functionality seems to be back to normal. Please let us know if you come across any problems browsing.

In the Tour Section, we have added a show for Saturday, October 28th, in the band's hometown of Dickson, to celebrate the return of drummer Bradley Trotter from Army Reserve training. It promises to be a show to remember, so make plans now if you are in the area.

Here's the latest on Disarray:

We're moving DisarrayOnline to a different web hosting service shortly. We hope that this change will be, for the most part, transparent to all of you. Since we were going to be uploading everything to the new server anyway, I decided to go ahead and catch up on all the updates (or at least MOST of them) that I've been procrastinating on for lo these many months.

The drummer situation, as some of you have already surmised by now, is a very fluid thing. Shane Harmon is no longer a member of Disarray, and hasn't been for about a year. We're not saying anything else about that at this time. Since his departure, we installed young Bradley Trotter as our new drummer, and he has been a solid member of the team. Early this spring, Bradley joined the Army Reserves and is currently finishing up his training in Virginia. We expect to have him back and ready to bash sometime in September, but the practical upshot is that we have been more or less sidelined since spring.

Well, maybe not completely sidelined. We've played a couple of shows in the interim, one an acoustic set for Nashville Rock: Stripped at 12th And Porter that was unannounced (thanks to Nick for sitting in on second guitar as well as Barry for sitting in on drums). We had a great time for that and would definitely be up for doing that sort of thing again. We also took part in Headbangers' Ball VII, presented by Nashvillerock.net and featuring some of the premier Nashville metal bands, both past and present. Damn, that was an incredible show. Thanks to Gregg Langford from 20 Saw You Die for kicking mortal ass on the drums for us that night. Special thanks to Vahalla, Deadsun, and Piranah for sharing the stage with us.

Pictures from that show can be found in the Photo Section. More photos featuring Bradley are forthcoming.

In other news, we are featured on a new compilation CD, this one featuring the absolute best rock and metal the so-called Music City has to offer. Presented by Nashvillerock.net, Nashville Rock Vol. 1 features the not-available-anywhere-else song, "Better Days (That Have Never Come)," taken from the as-yet unreleased Edge Of My Demise disc. We have a very limited number of these, which we will soon be making available here at DisarrayOnline, while they last. This comp is a very small run, and may become a very rare catalog piece, so kick some cash back for it now.

Stay tuned.

It's been a while. Let's get you all up to speed.

First off, as you may have noticed...the band has been taking some time off, to take care of personal things. Vance got married on 08.27, and he and his new wife honeymooned in St. Martin, French West Indies, where they both got sunburned and stung by jellyfish. The newlyweds are blissfully happy.

We currently have one show scheduled. Disarray are headlining a benefit show for Katrina relief efforts, to be held on the main street in the band's hometown of Dickson, TN, on Friday October 14. Local pals Gear Driven will be among the bands playing the show, and the RED CROSS, SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK, and SALVATION ARMY will be there to accept monetary and material donations. A damn good time, for a damn good cause.

As always, stay tuned,

A quick update: The Huntsville show has been put on hold. According to our sources, the club has been shut down by the city. We will reschedule the show as soon as a suitable venue has been found, hopefully sometime in May.

We've also been dealing with server issues that have hampered updates, and have adversely affected our email delivery. We hope to get these issues ironed out very soon.

Stay tuned.

This'll be a quick one, folks.

We've got a few new shows in the Tour Section, including a stop in Huntsville on April 9th, and a Cincy show coming up on the 25th of this month. The Cincy show will feature a new project on the bill...Undercurrent, featuring Steve Tucker (formerly of Morbid Angel). Everybody in the area is encouraged to come out to Sudsy's and catch what is sure to be an incredible bill.

Also, Disarray has been dragged, kicking and screaming, into MySpace. Check out our new band profile here:

See, I told you it'd be quick.

I know it's been less than 24 hours since the last update, but it's necessary. We just added several shows to the Tour section, including a Nashville show at The End on Monday, February 7th with Relapse recording artists Buried Inside, along with local messers Fall With Me. This will also be a birthday party for Vance, so come hang out with us and help us make fun of an old, old man.

01.24.05
The band has been busy with several things of late, including some new t-shirt designs we'll be unveiling in the next little while, demoing yet MORE new material, and freezing our asses off in the practice room to get ready for the show this Friday....

We're going to be at the Muse in Nashville, with our buddies in Ninth Day Sin and Monster Zero to pay homage to Dimebag Darrell with a special tribute show, with all profits from the door going to help the families of the victims of the Alrosa Villa shootings. What makes this special is that, along with our own material, we'll be playing some of our favorite Pantera songs, and we'll have some other cool surprises in store. Come on out and raise your glass and your fist to Dime with us.

We also have added some catalog pieces to the discography, including a 2-disc compilation from BLC Productions and a soundtrack credit for the RP Films offroad documentary Haulin' Or Crawlin'. And finally, we've archived a couple of older press pieces from NashvilleRock.Net and will be adding those to the Press section very soon.

And oh yeah....Happy New Year. Heeheehee.

Thanks to Michael and the rest of Shadows Of Light, as well as the guys in Leaderdog, the girls of Glass Lily, Charlie Phan, and everybody at Blue Sky Court for a great time on the 30th. Thanks also to Greg from Intruder, Rick from Medicine Mann, and all the other old school guys from back in the day who came out and partied with us.

Ron Macaluso took some great pictures of all the bands that night, and he has graciously supplied us with several excellent Disarray shots, which we're sharing with you in the Photo Section. Go check 'em out.

09.29.04
Just a quick note to catch up:

About the 10.1 Blue Sky Court show....it ain't happening. Apparently there was a disconnect with the people organizing the date, and the only ones who didn't know the show wasn't on were us. It happens. We apologize for the confusion, and hopefully have caught you all before you hop in the car and drive out.

We are working on some other dates for the next several weeks, and have one confirmed as of this writing: the 7th annual Charlie Phan Halloween Party October 30th at Blue Sky Court, with Shadows Of Light (featuring Michael of Medicine Mann) and Glass Lily. We're also doing some other stuff we'll clue you all in on as we firm things up; stay tuned.

I've redone all the email accounts for the DisarrayOnline domain. In a nutshell, I'm sick of getting 45 emails a day trying to get me to get Viagra, Cialis, Enzyte, Xanax, a bigger dick, bigger breasts, yadda yadda yadda. So as of this moment, these are the only valid addresses:

disarray@disarrayonline.com (BAND)
tech@disarrayonline.com (WEBMASTER)
info@disarrayonline.com (INFO)
sales@disarrayonline.com (SALES)

Sorry in advance for the confusion and inconvenience, but if it means I can spend two or three days with my girl and not come home to 200 spam emails, you will not have suffered in vain. See y'all.

02.20.04
Just a quick update on Shane. He is now back home in Dickson after spending four days in hospital in Cincinnati, and will be back up to 100% in no time. Thanks to everyone who emailed, called, and posted on the boards expressing concern. We won't forget you.

Also, the Tour Section is up to date. We are going on the assumption that the EMN show is a wash, so it's been pulled down. We are rescheduling the Muncie Indiana show for a little later and will have a date up for that ASAP. And we are working another in-town show for April. Keep checking with us for the latest.

02.16.04
As has been discussed on the message boards, Shane had a pancreatic attack on the morning of the 14th and the show in Cincinnati. Instead of cancelling, he climbed into the van with us and made the trip up, not even knowing if he would be able to pull off a set. Well, not only did he pull off the set, he threw down with us for nearly an hour, and played an incredible show. As soon as the show was done and the stage was clear, we transported him to Good Samaritan Hospital's emergency room, where he was admitted and treatment begun.

As of this writing, he is still in hospital in Cincinnati, but he is recuperating well and we hope to go get him and bring him home to finish his recovery later this week.

To give you some perspective, Gary from Pro-Pain says he knew a 31-year-old guy who died from this. And Shane got in the van and traveled to play a show with it.

We have started threads on the message boards for Shane. Everybody go and wish Shane a quick recovery.

Oh, and by the way: All shows currently listed are still on.

02.06.04
We've added a new show to the Tour section for April, up in Muncie IN. Next weekend is gonna find us back in Cincinnati for the first time in a long time. As for the Nashville show with Every Mother's Nightmare, well....

The date is still up on EMNOnline, and we're waiting for definitive word from the guys in the band, but Mercy Lounge is listing a different artist appearing that night. Until we hear one way or the other for sure, we're going to keep the show listed. Bear with us, hopefully we'll be able to confirm soon.

02.01.04
Welcome to the new face of Disarray....

The overhaul to the site is now complete. It's a new year, a new chapter for the band, so we figured, why not start things off with a new layout and some new content?

Forget everything you thought you knew.

We've been busy since last we spoke, and we're preparing to get even busier. Stay tuned.
