Bassist Vance Wright came to the band in November of 2000. He had been active in the Nashville metal community for the previous ten years, playing often alongside Disarray. He cites Cliff Burton (Metallica), Geddy Lee (Rush), and Andrew Weiss (Rollins Band) as musical influences.

"I've been doing this shit for a while now, but this is the first band I've ever been a part of where everybody in the organization is willing to do whatever it takes to get it done. Various bands I've done time in have shared the bill with Disarray since 1993, and I've always admired Chuck's work ethic. Joining this band was like coming home."
